Tesla Model Y 2025 AWD (Red)
A 2025 Tesla Model Y Dual Motor in Ultra Red — all-wheel drive, and the quickest car in the fleet at roughly 4.8 seconds to 60. The one to take if your trip involves the mountains east of the city, or if you just want the acceleration.
All-wheel drive also means better traction on wet coast roads in winter, and the second motor barely dents the range over a normal San Diego week. Autopilot with lane keeping and adaptive cruise, 15-inch center display with navigation and live Supercharger availability, glass panoramic roof, heated front and rear seats, and a powered tailgate over a deep trunk.
Includes 150 miles per day and a near-full charge at pickup. Delivery available to SAN, CBX, your hotel or your vacation rental. You'll need to be 21 or over with a valid driver's license and a credit card in your own name.
What it costs — the whole list, before you book
- Daily rate — the price shown above. There is no booking fee and no airport surcharge on top of it.
- Mileage — 150 miles a day are included. Extra miles are $0.50 each, or add Unlimited mileage for $99 a day.
- Refundable deposit — $300, held at pickup and released after you bring the car back.
- Protection — nothing extra if you bring your own coverage. Otherwise add Collision Damage Waiver ($50,000) at $15 a day, and Liability protection ($1M) at $22 a day.
- Charging — return the car at roughly the charge you picked it up at, or add Prepaid charging once for $45 and return it at any level.
- Delivery — optional. San Diego International (SAN) delivery and pickup is $199 for the whole trip, airport parking included. Delivery to a San Diego address is priced at checkout once you enter it.
- Full Self-Driving — optional, $100 for the trip.
- Cancellation — free up to 48 hours before your start time. Inside 48 hours, one day's rate.
Tolls, parking and any citations while the car is with you are yours to cover. Beyond those and any damage, nothing else is added at pickup or at return — that is the entire list.
