Mileage All vehicles include 150 miles per day (1,800 miles per month). Additional miles are charged at $0.50/mile. If you expect to drive further, add the Unlimited mileage option at checkout.

Charging Your car arrives at or near a full charge, and we ask that you return it at roughly the same level. If that doesn't suit your trip, add Prepaid charging for $45 at checkout and you can bring the car back at any battery percentage — we take care of the rest. Supercharging on the road is billed to the car's Tesla account and passed on at cost.

Insurance & protection You can drive on your own auto policy if it covers rental vehicles — bring proof and there is nothing more to pay. Otherwise add our coverage at checkout: Collision Damage Waiver at $15/day ($50,000 of damage cover) and Liability protection at $22/day ($1,000,000). One or the other is required; you can't drive uninsured.

Security Deposit A $300 refundable deposit is held at pickup and released after the car is returned in the condition it went out in.

Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the trip start time for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, one day's rate is charged and the rest of your payment is refunded.

Who can drive Drivers must be 21 or over with a valid driver's license and a credit card in their own name. Additional drivers must be present at pickup with the same documents.

Delivery & pickup We deliver to San Diego International (SAN) for $199 for the whole trip, which includes the airport parking and access fees, so there is nothing extra to pay on the day. Delivery to a hotel, vacation rental or address in San Diego is quoted at checkout once you enter it. You can also collect the car from us in Sorrento Valley at no charge.

Parking & pickup at the airport Your vehicle will be waiting in the parking structure at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. We send you the exact level and spot number before you arrive. Parking fees during your own trip are the guest's responsibility — and please don't leave the car in a 3-hour limit space.

Tolls, tickets and fines Any tolls, parking tickets or traffic citations incurred while the car is with you are yours to settle. We pass on the charge plus any administrative fee the issuing authority applies.
